Begin the day with a visit to Cobh harbour where so many settlers sailed for the New World and Fota House and Gardens then continue onto Blarney Castle. Other highlights of the day include the spectacular Aillwee Caves before arriving in Galway for your dinner and overnight stop.

Sometimes called the Lake District, this is a wild and unspoilt region where Irish traditions still hold strong and spoken Irish can still be heard. The day starts with City Sightseeing of Galway and then a visit to Galway’s Church of St Nicholas and continues with a scenic coastal drive to Kylemore Abbey and the ferry (payable locally) to the romantic and unspoilt Arran Islands.
