Highlights of England Tour (5 days/4 nights)

Day One

Travel north to visit Cambridge and take an open top city tour bus through the ancient colleges of this fine University town. Continue north to view the spectacular Lincoln Cathdral before continuing onto Harrogate area for dinner and overnight

Day Two

Start the day with a sightseeing bus tour of the walled city of York and visit its magnificent Minster, England’s largest medieval cathedral. Wonder through narrow cobbled streets, the 15th Century Shambles or visit the Jorvik Viking Centre or the city folk museum. Continue your day with a visit to the fine mansion of Castle Howard and a short leisurely drive into the Yorkshire Dales National Park, returning to Harrogate area for dinner and overnight.

Day Three

Start the day with a visit to the treasures of the magnificent Harewood House. Continue westwards to visit the 200-year-old industrial folk park of Quarry Bank Mill and Styal Park and then travel to the walled Roman city of Chester area for dinner and overnight.

Day Four

Spend some time exploring the shops in the historic “Rows” of Chester before heading south to the world heritage city of Bath to visit the fine Roman Baths and Abbey. Overnight and dinner in the Bath area.

Day Five

Start the day with a city sightseeing bus tour to see the superb 18th century architecture of Bath and the abundance of culture mixed in with modern shopping – it is an ideal place for some souvenir shopping before returning to London.
