Day One

Begin your tour by travelling to medieval Kilkenny and the 13th Century castle, the principal seat of the Butler family, Marquesses and Dukes of Ormonde.

Overnight Limerick area
Day Two

The “Ring of Kerry tour” - first head for the Gap of Dunloe, located to the south west of Killarney to Kate Kearneys Cottage where you can either walk the gap or take a ‘jarvey’ through the barren landscape of overhanging cliffs, huge boulders, and waterfalls. From here, continue to Glenbeigh and the Bog Village, a unique rural attraction.  Continue through Cahirciveen passing the Iveragh Peninsula, Valentina Harbour and Cahirciveen Barracks.

Overnight in Waterville area
Day Three

Today, you continue your journey around the Kerry Ring.  At Iskeroon, Caherdaniel you will find Derrynane House and Gardens, part of the Derrynane National Park.  Continue along the southern half of the ring, taking a short stop at Torc Waterfall before arriving in Killarney.  Here, we recommend a visit to Muckross House and Lake.  As cars only have access to the car park, the tour is best taken by a jaunting car.

Overnight Cork area

Day Four

Cork and its surrounding area has an abundance of attractions to offer so today head off to Blarney, Ireland’s ‘biggest little village’.  Blarney Castle is famous for its Stone which legend has that it will confer eloquence to all who kiss it.  From Blarney continue north to Mitchelstown Cave - a world without sun or time.

Overnight Cork area.
Day Five

This morning before you begin your onward journey home, you may wish to head east to Waterford, to the Waterford Crystal Visitor Centre where you can see how the world’s finest crystal is produced.  Continue from here towards Kilkenny and homewards.
