Day One

Drive out to visit the Royal Windsor Castle, the world's oldest and largest, and then continue to the fine University city of Oxford for an open top City Sightseeing bus tour. The next highlight on the tour is the magnificent Blenheim Palace, birthplace of Sir Winston Churchill. Dinner and overnight in the Stratford-upon-Avon area.

Day Two

The first visit is to Warwick Castle, Britain’s finest complete medieval castle before returning to Stratford-upon-Avon to visit the Shakespeare properties and to explore this pretty riverside town. A leisurely tour of the Cotswolds takes you through picture book villages such as Broadway, Chipping Campden and Stow-on-the-Wold to Hidcote Manor Gardens before returning for dinner and overnight in the Stratford-upon-Avon area.

Day Three

Today’s highlight is the heritage city of Bath to see the Roman Baths, fine 18th century architecture, superb shopping and an open top City Sightseeing bus tour. The next highlight is the majestic Longleat House and Gardens and then onto the world heritage site of Stonehenge and into Salisbury area for dinner and overnight.

Day Four

Spend some time in historic Salisbury and visit the magnificent Cathedral, before continuing to the treasure house of Wilton House. The tour then takes a leisurely drive through pretty villages to England‘s finest gardens at Stourhead before returning via ruined Wardour Castle to Salisbury area for dinner and overnight.

Day Five

Begin the day with a leisurely drive through the New Forest National Park where wild ponies graze by the roadside and continue to historic Winchester to see the Cathedral. If time allows a visit to Hampton Court Palace and Gardens on the approach to London is a must.
