Day One

Drive out to visit the Royal Windsor Castle, the world’s oldest and largest, before continuing on to Bath for an open top bus City Sightseeing bus tour.  Take some time to explore this heritage city and its fine 18th Century architecture before heading to your hotel in the Bristol area for dinner and overnight.
Day Two

The day starts with a drive across the Severn Bridge into Wales and the Brecon Beacons National Park.  Visit the nearby Big Pit where you travel 300 feet underground with a real miner and see what life was like for the thousands of men who worked at the coalface. Continue through the Rhondda valley and a stop at Caerphilly Castle, one of the largest surviving castles of the medieval western world before heading into Cardiff area for dinner and overnight.
Day Three

Today starts with a City Sightseeing bus tour of Cardiff. The day is not complete without a visit to Cardiff Castle. Stay in Cardiff for some more sightseeing or shopping or alternatively head out to the coast towards the Gower Peninsula and the beauty of Swansea and The Mumbles. Visit The Gower Heritage Centre - a restored and working 12th century water powered corn mill and farming museum where you will have a cream tea before returning to Cardiff area for dinner and overnight.
Day Four

The tour takes you along the southern coast before heading up to Carmarthen. Continue your journey north and stop off in Aberystwyth and take a walk along the beach at this seaside resort. Continue into Snowdonia National Park where you will drive through some spectacular scenery before stopping of in Harlech for a visit to the 13th century Castle, a UNESCO world heritage site.  Continue onto Caernarfon for dinner and overnight.
Day Five

In the morning take some time to explore the Royal Town of Caernarfon, location of the investiture of HRH Prince Charles as Prince of Wales. Drive into the heart of Snowdonia and along the pass of Llanberis before heading to the principal village of Snowdonia, Betws-y-Coed. Continue up to Bondant Garden, one of the finest gardens in the country and awash with summer colours before returning along the coastal road past Conwy back to your hotel for dinner and overnight in the Caernarfon area.
Day Six

The journey takes you back along the north Welsh coast towards Chester and back into England.  Stop off on your way south to visit Little Moreton Hall, Britain’s most famous and finest timber-framed manor house, near Congleton. Continue on your journey through the Heart of England and down to Warwick where no visit is complete without a trip to the Castle.

Dinner and overnight in Stratford-upon-Avon area.
Day Seven

The day starts with a City Sightseeing bus tour of Stratford-upon-Avon, home and birthplace of William Shakespeare.  Explore this wonderful market town and also the home of Shakespeare’s mother, Mary Arden and the cottage of his wife, Anne Hathaway. Take some time for a little shopping for souvenirs of your trip before returning to your hotel for dinner and overnight.
Day Eight

Return to London for your homeward journey.
